Activate the Sprints

The Sprints feature in Oktuple allows teams to organize work into focused, time-boxed iterations — a core practice in the Scrum framework. Activating Sprints enables you to manage tasks more effectively, track progress, and generate detailed reports to evaluate team performance. ✅ Available on all Oktuple plans 🔐 Can be enabled by Workspace Owners or Admins during project creation 🔧 Why Use Sprints? - Break down complex projects into manageable cycles - Start focused work sessions with clear goals - Track tasks and team progress from the Kanban Board - Analyze performance with visual reports 🚀 How to Start a Sprint in Oktuple Follow these simple steps to activate and begin using sprints: 1. Open your Scrum project. 2. From the left sidebar, click sprint. 3. Locate the desired sprint and click the Start Sprint button on the right side of the sprint bar. Once started, the sprint becomes active and visible on the Kanban Board. ➕ How to Add Issues to a Sprint You can add tasks or issues to a sprint in several ways: - From the Backlog: Create a new issue and drag it into the desired sprint. - Change Issue Group from the Issue Modal Easily move an issue between Backlog and Sprints directly from its modal. Simply open the issue, and update its group to quickly reorganize tasks without leaving the current view. - Move Between Sprints: Drag existing issues from another sprint into your current sprint. - From the Board View: Create and add issues directly to the active sprint. 🗂️ View Active Sprint in Kanban Board After activating a sprint, it will appear in the Kanban View, where you can: - View all tasks within the active sprint - Move tasks between columns as they progress - Collaborate with your team in real-time 👉 Learn more about the Kanban Board 📊 Track Sprint Progress with Reports Oktuple offers real-time insights through visual reports that begin tracking the moment your sprint starts. These help measure efficiency, team performance, and sprint outcomes. Available Reports: - Burn Up Chart – visualize progress toward the sprint goal - Burn Down Chart – track remaining work over time - Velocity Report – measure completed work across sprints - Sprint Report – analyze task status and completion - Release Burn Down – monitor progress toward a release - Issue Chart – understand issue types and statuses

Complete Sprints

To mark a sprint as complete, you must first activate it. Once the sprint is active and all tasks are either completed or reassigned, you can click the Complete Sprint button. This action will automatically close the sprint, update the project status, and generate a Sprint Report. 📌 Note: Only Workspace Owners or Admins can complete a sprint. 🧭 How to Complete a Sprint in Claytap Follow these steps to properly complete a sprint: 1. Go to Your Scrum Project From your Claytap Dashboard, open the Scrum-based project you’re working on. 2. Click on the sprint icon from sidebar Click the Sprint button as shown in the image. From the opened Backlog page It displays all planned sprints and your current task backlog. Choose the “Complete sprint” button to end the sprint from the right side of the sprint name. confirmation will be shown you that the sprint has ended. Confirm if you are sure. As a final result, you can see that the completed sprint is no longer shown in this list. (Short Summary)  Activate the Sprint (If Not Already Active) - Locate the sprint you want to work on. - If the sprint is not yet active, click Start Sprint to activate it. - Once activated, tasks will be tracked, and progress will count toward the sprint metrics. 🟢 You must activate a sprint before it can be completed.  Work on Sprint Tasks - Team members should complete, update, or move tasks as the sprint progresses. - Tasks should be in a completed or finalized state before closing the sprint.  Complete the Sprint - When all tasks are finalized: - Go back to the Backlog view. - On the right-hand side of the sprint panel, click the Complete Sprint button. 🔐 Only Workspace Owners and Admins can complete a sprint.  Review the Sprint Report Once the sprint is completed: - The report shows: - Completed tasks - Incomplete tasks with options to move forward - Sprint duration, velocity, and team performance metrics 🚀 What Happens When You Complete a Sprint? - ✅ Sprint status changes to Completed - 🗂️ Incomplete items can be moved to: - The Backlog - Another upcoming sprint - 📊 A full Sprint Report is generated for historical review and retrospectives 💡 Best Practices - Always activate the sprint first before tracking progress. - Make sure all tasks are either: - Marked as Done - Or reassigned before completing the sprint - Use the Sprint Report for team retrospectives or performance reviews
